Pheasants in Distress

Someone asked me to pass this along. For all the hunters in the Greyhound Industry.
If you could get word out to Iowa farmers,Pheasants Forever & Ducks Unlimited ,to get corn or other feed, next to the roads that have been plowed, for all the pheasants. We traveled from Alta to Spencer,Emmetsburg,Algona,Humboldt & saw many pheasants looking for feed. Many were dead in fields or hit by cars. It is a shame if we cannot contact all media in the state with this plea for assistance. A farmer friend of our around Radcliffe,Iowa said they are placing corn every day on the flat surface along the country & county roads. The snow is too deep for them to scratch.I am a concerned Iowa resident whose husband hunts & fishes & wants to make sure we do not lose our already scarce pheasant population.
