Long time greyhound Kennel Owner passed away on Oct. 26th.
Buzzy and his brother Carroll ran Blair Bro. Kennels for years. With bookings at Miami Beach, Flagler, Biscayne, Hollywood, Denver , Loveland and Colorado Springs.
When Colorado started year round racing Carroll and Buzzy split up with Carroll taking the Florida and Arkansas circuit and Buzzy taking the Colorado circuit.
When Bluffs Run opened Buzzy and son Gary took a booking and ran until Kansas City opened and they went to kansas City to race. When the Colorado circuit started to take a slide Buzzy and wife Elsie moved to Kansas to be close to Gary and wife Amy and their grandkids.
Several years Buzzy and Elsie retired to Greenwood Village Co.
He was very likeable man. A GREAT dog man that always had a very competive kennel. He will be missed by many.
My prayers go out to Elsie, Robin, Tammy, Gary , David and the rest of his family.

Blair, Clinton E. "Buzz", 78, of Greenwood Village, died October 26, 2011. He was born August 13, 1933, to Merrill and Thelma Blair. On April 12, 1954, he married the love of his life, Elsie D. Blair. Shortly after getting married, Buzz and Elsie moved to Quincy, Massachusetts, where he served in the United States Army as a member of its Air and National Defense Battery. After concluding his service in the United States Army, Buzz began a long and storied career as a Greyhound Racing owner and trainer. Among his many accomplishments were numerous stake winners and kennel championships. One of his finest greyhounds was a Colorado fan favorite and Timberline winner, Cherokee Go. He treasured the many friends made during his years in Greyhound Racing.
He is survived by his wife, four children (Robin, Tammy, Gary, and David), and six grandchildren (Rachel, Clint, Elizabeth, Zac, Shane, and Olivia). He was preceded in death by his brother, Carroll Blair. Viewing Friday, Oct. 28 from 4-7 pm and Funeral Services will be held Saturday, 8:00 AM, at Olinger Hampden Mortuary & Cemetery, 8600 East Hampden Avenue Denver, CO 80231.
